There are significant differences between Jinjunmei black tea and Lapsang Souchong black tea in terms of raw materials, technology, and taste.

Raw materials: Jinjunmei black tea is made entirely from buds, usually single buds from the tea tree, while Lapsang souchong is made from 1 bud with 3 leaves or 1 bud with 2 leaves.
Technology: Jinjunmei black tea basically follows the traditional manufacturing process of Lapsang Souchong, but there are differences in the withering and fermentation processes. The fermentation time of Jinjunmei is shorter, and there is only a small part of the smoking process during the withering process, while the traditional Lapsang Souchong black tea uses pinewood smoke during the withering and baking process.
Taste: Jinjunmei is sweeter than Lapsang Souchong, refreshing, and very resistant to soaking. The taste is still full and sweet after 12 consecutive brews. Lapsang souchong has a light sour taste and fruity aroma.
Aroma: The aroma of Jin Junmei black tea is elegant and changeable, with fruity, floral, honey and other charms, while Lapsang Souchong has longan, honey or pine smoke aroma.

Appearance: The shape of Jinjun eyebrows is as slender as eyebrows, with golden tips interspersed, and the overall appearance is "golden and black". Lapsang souchong has a tight and even appearance, a greenish-brown color, and is oilier.
Historical background: Lapsang Souchong black tea is the originator of black tea in the world. It has a history of more than 400 years and is produced in Wuyishan City, Fujian Province. Jinjunmei was developed in 2005 on the basis of Lapsang Souchong.
These differences make Jin Junmei black tea and Lapsang Souchong black tea have their own characteristics in quality and taste, suitable for different drinking needs and taste preferences.
