Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 2026

These terms govern your use of this website and any purchase you make through it. They form an agreement between you (the “customer”, “you”) and the company identified in the footer of this website (the “company”, “we”, “us”). By using this website or placing an order you accept these terms. Our Shipping Policy and Refund & Returns Policy form part of these terms, and where they give you more specific information about delivery or returns, that information applies to your order.

1. About this website

This website is an online store for specialty foods, teas, snacks and related products, sold to consumers around the world. We present each product as accurately as we reasonably can. Photographs are for illustration: packaging, labels and product appearance may differ between production batches, and product information may be updated as suppliers change labels or recipes. Browsing this website or adding items to your cart does not create a contract — a contract is formed only when we accept your order as described in section 2.

2. Orders and acceptance

When you place an order you will receive an e-mail acknowledging it. That acknowledgement is not acceptance. We accept your order, and a contract is formed, when we confirm dispatch to you. If a product is out of stock, if a price or description was clearly wrong, or if we cannot verify payment or delivery details, we may decline or cancel the order and refund any amount you have paid. Orders are for personal or household use or genuine gifting unless we agree otherwise in writing.

3. Prices, currency and payment

Prices are shown in the currency stated at checkout and may be updated at any time before your order is accepted. The price you pay is the price shown when you place the order, subject to section 2. Payment is taken by the payment methods offered at checkout, and is processed by third-party payment providers under their own terms. Import duties, taxes and customs fees are not included in the price or in any shipping charge — see section 5 and our Shipping Policy.

4. Product information, food safety and allergens

Food products are supplied with the labelling required by the manufacturer and, where applicable, the destination market. Always read the label, including ingredients, allergens, storage instructions and the best-before or expiry date, before consuming a product. If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, check the ingredient list and contact us before ordering if anything is unclear. Product images are illustrative; actual packaging may vary.

5. Shipping and delivery

We ship to the countries listed at checkout. Processing usually takes 24–48 hours for in-stock items; delivery times depend on the shipping method and destination and are estimates, not fixed dates. Orders shipped from this website are delivered DDU (duties unpaid): import duties, taxes and customs fees are payable by the recipient on arrival. If a parcel is refused, abandoned or returned because duties or taxes were left unpaid, we refund the amount paid less the outbound shipping and the return shipping actually incurred, and less any customs charges we cannot recover. Further detail, including what happens if a parcel is delayed or lost, is in our Shipping Policy.

6. Returns, refunds and cancellation

You may cancel an order for a full refund at any time before it is dispatched — contact us quoting your order number. After delivery, our Refund & Returns Policy applies: unopened, unused or undamaged items may be returned within 60 days of the order date during the product’s shelf life, for a refund or exchange. For safety and hygiene reasons we cannot accept opened or used food items, or clearance products. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility and customs charges on returned parcels may be deducted from the refund, as set out in that policy. Nothing in this section limits any statutory right you may have under the law that applies to your order.

7. Damage, shortage or wrong items

Please check your delivery on arrival. If an item arrives damaged, or you receive the wrong item or fewer items than ordered, contact us within 15 working days of delivery, quoting the order number and including photographs. Where a claim is accepted, we will arrange a replacement or a refund of the affected item. Fresh-keeping products sent by expedited express are not eligible for return or exchange unless the product sent was wrong or the shipment was lost — see our Refund & Returns Policy.

8. Use of this website

You agree to use this website lawfully and not to interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it, or use automated tools to copy its content or to place fraudulent orders. We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe these terms or the law are being breached.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website — text, product photography, graphics, logos and design — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other reproduction, distribution or commercial use requires our written permission.

10. Our liability to you

We are responsible for foreseeable loss and damage caused by us. We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not foreseeable, or for business losses (including loss of profit, business, or goodwill) where the order was for personal use. Our total liability in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for the goods concerned, except where the law does not allow such a limit — in particular, nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

11. Events outside our control

We are not liable for delays or failure to deliver caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including customs stoppages, transport disruption, epidemics, natural events or governmental action. Where such an event affects your order we will contact you and, if the delay is substantial and cannot be resolved, you may cancel the affected items for a refund of the amounts paid for them.

12. Marketing e-mail

Where we contact you about our products or services without you having asked, every message identifies the sender, explains why you are receiving it and contains an unsubscribe link that works without cost or registration. A request not to be contacted is honoured from the moment we receive it and applies to future lists as well; disregarding it is a breach of these terms and of the marketing rules that apply to us.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this website applies to orders placed after it takes effect; orders already placed are governed by the version in force when the order was placed. We recommend checking this page before placing an order.

14. Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms and any contract formed under them are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will first be addressed by contacting us at the address in section 15; if a dispute cannot be resolved that way, the courts at the company’s place of business have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your country of residence.

15. Contact

Questions about these terms, or requests for a signed version for your own records, should be sent to the contact address shown on our Contact page and in the footer of this website.
